Jesus replied, “My kingdom doesn’t originate from this world. If it did, my guards would fight so that I wouldn’t have been arrested by the Jewish leaders. My kingdom isn’t from here.” “So you are a king?” Pilate said. Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. I was born and came into the world for this reason: to testify to the truth. Whoever accepts the truth listens to my voice.”

  • The gospel of the Kingdom of God is about the one who rules my life.

After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God. “The time has come," he said. "The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”

  • The gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven is about where the authority to rule my life originated.

From then on Jesus began to preach, "Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near."

Some Pharisees asked Jesus when the Kingdom of God would come. His answer was, “The Kingdom of God does not come in such a way as to be seen. No one will say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or, ‘There it is!’ because the Kingdom of God is within you.”
